Midway University Names New VP of Marketing & Communications

Midway, KY (07/31/2026) — Midway, Ky. - Marcia (Marci) Sullivan, an experienced leader in higher education marketing and communications, has joined Midway University's senior leadership team as vice president of marketing and communications.

Sullivan, who officially joined Midway on July 20, most recently served as director of marketing and communications in the College of Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis.

Other posts held by Sullivan include vice president of marketing and communications for Maryville University in St. Louis. There she spearheaded a rebranding initiative and led a national marketing campaign for the university's online program expansion, contributing to the institution's significant enrollment growth.

As vice president of marketing and communications, Sullivan will oversee media relations, marketing and advertising, brand management, and internal and external communications.

Sullivan is a native of Ulysses, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in journalism and mass communications from Kansas State University. ###
