Midway University Rises 11 Places in U.S. News & World Report in Just One Year

Midway, KY (10/16/2024) — Seeing its largest jump in recent history, Midway University is now ranked 65 among the Best Universities in the South, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report release. These rankings come out each year and analyze data markers from industry. Additionally, the University is ranked 20 on Social Mobility, which is a measure of the school's ability to enroll and graduate disadvantaged students who are awarded Pell Grants. These are mostly students with less than a $50,000 gross family income.

In the last four years, Midway University has moved up in the rankings by more than 30 places. The rankings are based on 17 factors which include retention rates, student-faculty ratio, financial resources per student, graduation performance, full-time faculty and more.

Midway University also ranked 29th in Best Colleges for Veterans and 46th in Best Value Schools.
