Midway University Welcomes New Dean of the School of Health Sciences

Midway, KY (09/30/2025) — Midway University proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Anne Sahingoz, as the new Dean of the School Health Sciences.

Dr. Sahingoz brings more than two decades of experience in higher education and healthcare to her new role. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Walden University, a Master of Science in Nursing Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Sullivan University, and a Licensed Practical Nursing diploma from Spencerian College.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sahingoz has served in faculty and administrative roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to student-centered learning, academic excellence, and helping prepare nurses for new and expanding roles. She has been instrumental in developing innovative curricula, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and expanding partnerships with healthcare organizations to provide meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students.

"Dr. Sahingoz's extensive background in nursing and education, combined with her collaborative leadership style, will be a tremendous asset to Midway University," said Dr. Tim Campbell, Vice President of Academic Affairs. "Her focus on preparing students for the evolving demands of healthcare aligns perfectly with our mission."

Dr. Sahingoz began her new role at the beginning of the fall semester.
