Shellie Brown Joins Midway University Advancement Team

Midway, KY (09/19/2023) — Midway University is pleased to announce the hiring of Shellie Brown as Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations.

Brown, a 2011 alumna of the school, will manage the annual giving and alumni relations programs, including serving as liaison with the Midway University Alumni Association and its board.

With nearly 20 years' non-profit experience, Brown most recently served as Director of Volunteer Services with Bluegrass Care Navigators, where she was involved with event management and fundraising activities.

"I've known since I first began attending classes at Midway University that I would serve my alma mater with reverence and loyalty one day, just as the University had shown me," said Brown.

Brown resides in Frankfort and has been married to her husband, Kenny, for 32 years and has a son, Austin, who resides in Florida.
