Midway University Alumnus Ed Monaco Joins Board of Trustees
Midway, KY (06/09/2025) — Midway University proudly announces the appointment of Edward T. Monaco, MBA '24, to its Board of Trustees. Monaco was officially sworn in during the University's spring board meeting, bringing decades of leadership in the financial services industry to the institution's governing body.
A seasoned wealth management executive, Monaco currently serves as Regional Vice President of Private Wealth Management at Fidelity Investments, where he oversees a team managing more than $65 billion in assets under administration across the Central Region. With more than twenty years of experience, he is recognized for his ability to lead high-performing teams, launch new business ventures, and build lasting client relationships in the high-net-worth space.
Monaco earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Boston College and completed his Master of Business Administration at Midway University in May 2024. He holds multiple financial certifications including CFP, CPWA, and CWS, and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Monaco is actively engaged in his community, serving as a lector at St. Patrick's Cathedral and pursuing interests including amateur boxing.
